Top loading kiln stacking tip

Pottery tip of the day:

To make your elements work better and last longer, always try to have 2 elements between shelves, especially at the bottom of the kiln where it workers harder to keep up temperature. Also, if your venting, don’t use the bottom of the kiln, put a full shelf on 1 inch post then use that as the bottom of the kiln, for better circulation and more even firing.
