Spaghetti skewer for beads.

Pottery tip of the day:

Uncooked spaghetti..not just for supper anymore!

Use it for beads! Simply skewer a moist clay bead, wiggle it around a little to make the hole and break off the excess. Then you have a hole that won’t be plugged up by underglazes or slips, and it burns out in the bisc fire! You can also stick spaghetti in the hole of a bisced piece to glaze it, for holding it and making sure the glaze doesn’t stop up the hole
