Transporting pottery

Pottery tip of the day:

When transporting pottery, to shows or even to the kiln, use liquor boxes! The sections of different boxes are wonderful for transporting pieces.

The sectioned boxes range from smaller sections, like wine boxes…to larger sections, like fifth’s of whiskey boxes…and hold up extremely well. Example, I take a wine box, and put a mug down one of the sections, then put a wadded up piece of newspaper on top of the mug, then put another mug. 2 mugs in one section. The bigger whiskey boxes are great for my bigger pieces, even vases.
