Stopping oxidation of a reduced/raku surface, like copper matt.

Just take 3 or 4 tblspoons of sodium silicate in approx 1 quart of water and spray over the surface. Just use a regular spray bottle. Then bake piece at 100F for about 45 mins in the oven or kiln.
But if you have pieces that already HAVE oxidized, just polish it with 100% lemon juice and that should shine it back up.
