Clay ball release for plaster molds.

Pottery tip of the day:

When using plaster relief molds you can separate the damp clay tile from the mold by using a damp wad of clay. After pressing the clay into the plaster mold, let set up a few mins, then use a damper ball of clay..it acts as a suction cup and just press around the edges and it will pull the clay tile out of the plaster mold.
Just stamp it and pull..all the way around the edges. Hint..it works better if you hold the mold up vertically and use the damp clay on the side, but make sure you hold the clay tile, for it will fall out of the mold without support.
