Description: This is Perkins Center for the Art’s glossy glaze with lots of movement. It looks great on textured surfaces where it breaks nicely or layered over glazes high in RIO such as Randy’s Red. LGG works well on all clay body colors and looks best when slow cooled.

‎ Colemanite Glossy Green (or blue) ^6
Frit 3134 – 760
 Custer Feldspar – 1047
Whiting – 168
Gerstley Borate – 152
Ball Clay – 109
Flint – 760
 Add
Copper Carb – 90 for green
Add Cobalt Oxide – 15 for blue
We used it at the Saskatoon Potter’s Guild – from what I remember the biggest issue was speckling of the cobalt.  I’m going to mix a test batch of each and try them again also.

Glossy transparent, rich dark green by ???? Can be a nice red in reduction on top of Goss White. Old Opal looks nice sprayed on top in oxidation. Sometimes the glazes dipped on top will crawl.
